| Description
| - The aim of the project is to analyze Prague university aesthetics between the years of 1805 and 1848 within the broadest possible range and complexity, making use of the methodology of the history of institutions and the history of ideas. The research is developed in two lines. Within the first line the project assembles and analyzes materials relating to aesthetics which can be found in the documents outlining the running of the Austrian universities and their philosophical faculties in particular, stored in Czech and Austrian archives. Within the second line the project assembles and analyzes the available sources (students´ notes, books and magazines contributions) relating to the lectures of the individual professors of aesthetics (J.G. Meinert, J.H.M. Dambeck, A. Müller and F. Ficker), wit the aim of characterising their content and subsequently placing them within the context of European aesthetics of the time. (en)
- Projekt zkoumá pražskou univerzitní estetiku let 1805 až 1848 v co možná největší šíři a komplexnosti, využívaje metodologie dějin institucí a dějin idejí. Výzkum se odvíjí ve dvou liniích. V rámci první linie projekt soustavně zpracuje materiály týkající se estetiky obsažené v úředních dokumentech upravujících chod rakouských univerzit a osobitě filozofických fakult, uchované v českých a rakouských archivech. V rámci druhé linie projekt shromáždí a vyhodnotí dostupné prameny (studentské zapisy, knihy a časopisecké příspěvky) týkající se vlastních přednášek jednotlivých profesorů estetiky (J.G. Meinerta, J.H.M. Dambecka, A. Müllera a F. Fickera) s cílem postihnout jejich obsah a následně je vsadit do kontextu dobového evropského estetického myšlení.
