Description
| - The project is orientated to development and improvement of progressive methods of sample clean-up, preconcentration, separation, and detection for analyses in biochemistry and clinical and environmental chemistry. The research and development will be focused on the separation of analytes and sample matrix by electromigration across liquid phase boundaries and membranes in combination with preconcentration and separation effects of electromigration boundaries in capillary electrophoresis and with optimization of background electrolytes for sensitive on-line detection by mass spectrometry. New techniques will be developed allowing easier and more sensitive analyses of samples with complex matrices in research and application areas. (en)
