| Description
| - The aim of the project is to work out the necessary infrastructure for the speech processing and for the processing of information which is spoken or written by human communicator. Also multimedial information will be taken into account.The infrastructure is composed by the large system of software tools (eg. programs for database annotations, programs for real time speech recognition, progarms for data transfer, and data organisation or batch-spooling systems used in huge computational tasks solved in big computer clusters), and know-how from the field of computer architecture. The common feature of theese topics is the distribution of tasks in Grid nets - in our case: the distribution of data during the speech recogniser training as well as in speech recogniser applications, but also in many associated operations. - Projekt směřuje k rozvoji infrastruktury potřebné ke zpracování lidské řeči a informací nesených lidskou řečí v mluvené i psané podobě a zpracování souvisejících multimediálních informací. Tuto infrastrukturu tvoří rozsáhlý soubor softwarových prostředků (programy pro anotace databází, programy pro rozpoznávání řeči v reálném čase, programy pro přenos, zálohování a organizaci dat či batch-spooling systémy pro zpracování velkých výpočetních úloh ve výpočetních clusterech) a související metody organizace práce a know-how z oblasti architektury systémů zpracování dat. Společným rysem je distribuce úloh v sítích typu Grid - zpracování dat při trénování systémů rozpoznávání řeči i při vlastním nasazení rozpoznávačů v informačních systémech a v souvisejících operacích.

| - The aim of the project has been research in software and hardware technologies for speech processing in big information systems. The results are used in a project devoted to the system, which is able to find the specific information in recorded calls. (en)
- Cílem projektu byl rozvoj know-how a softwarových a hardwarových prostředků pro zpracování řeči ve velkých informačních systémech. S využitím výsledků projektu je vytvářen telefonní systém, který v zaznamenaných hovorech vyhledává specifické informace. (cs)
