Description
  • Actualized and extended version of software computer code TRANSGEO based on finite elements method. The code was created for analysis of coupled thermo-hydro mechanical problems. It is focused on analyses of soils and subsoil – structure interaction . 2D and 3D domain can be modeled by various types of finite elements with linear or quadratic base functions. Phenomenological and micromechanics based models for coupled heat and moisture transfer were implemented. Various mechanical material models describing behavior of soils , e.g, creep models, damage models and plasticity models. Two approaches are used for coupling - staggered form and fully coupled form. Results can be exported to commercial graphical postprocessor GiD which provides robust environment for their visualization. TRANSGEO is written in C++ with respect to portability and extensibility. TRANSGEO is an extension of SIFEL and METR computer code.
