Description	We examine relationships between the persistence of circulation types conducive to summer heat waves and air temperature anomalies at stations over most of Europe, and evaluate differences between temperature anomalies during late and early stages of 'warm' circulation types in all seasons. Results show that more persistent circulation patterns tend to enhance the severity of heat waves and support more pronounced temperature anomalies. (en) Příspěvek se zabývá vazbami mezi persistencí cirkulačních typů podporujících rozvoj horkých vln a odchylkami teploty vzduchu na stanicích pokrývajících většinu Evropy. Zkoumány jsou rovněž rozdíly mezi teplotními anomáliemi během pozdních a raných stadií 'teplých' cirkulačních typů ve všech sezonách. Výsledky ukazují, že persistentnější cirkulační pole mají tendenci zvyšovat intenzitu horkých vln a podporují výraznější teplotní odchylky. (cs)
