  • The hydrological forest function represents impact of forest on parts of water circulation and its quality. Watermanagement forest function is the purposeful influence of hydrological forest functions. The water-balance is the water reserves transformation in the soil and it is dependent on income and outlay of balance-equation. In the ecosystem concept is the water-equation included in hydrological influences on forest, specially water regime and water-balance in the landscape. Hydrological-watermanagement influences are the modification of parts in hydrological circle, creation of water reserves in soil and protection and influencing of water quality, the formation of no-claims water outflow.   • Funkce hydricko-vodohospodářská je schopnost lesních ekosystémů prostřednictvím hydrických účinků utvářet a modifikovat vodní bilanci a vodní režim. Hydricko -- vodohospodářské účinky jsou kvantitativní a kvalitativní a mezi ně patří modifikace složek hydrologického cyklu, tvorba vodních zdrojů v půdě a jejich ochrana, ovlivňování jakosti vody, formování bezeškodého odtoku vody. Hydricko-vodohospodářský potenciál je kvantifikovaná, maximálně možná funkční schopnost lesních ekosystémů (hodnota produkované funkce) formovat a modifikovat v optimálních ekosystémových podmínkách složky a režim vodní bilance.
