  • The effect of an insecticide permethrine on the titre of two adipokinetic hormones in CNS and haemolymph of the firebug Pyrrhocoris apterus was tested. Used doses elicited not significant effect on the titre of the adipokinetic peptides in CNS, but caused their dramatic elevation in haemolymph of macropterous and reproductive brachypterous bugs. Using HPLC and competitive ELISA both adipokinetic peptides of P. apterus were identified and quantified in CNS of all experimental groups. The ratios of both peptides in CNS of the used bugs were affected by insecticide treatment. The insecticide-treated bugs were compared with those exposed to forced running and dark shock. Both factors also acted as stressors and enhanced the titre of adipokinetic peptides in haemolymph but had no effect on hormone titre in CNS. The results indicate an involvement of adipokinetic peptides in response of insect to various stressors including insecticides.

  • Práce se zabývá vlivem permethrinu na hladinu adipokinetického hormonu (AKH) v CNS a hemoloymfě ploštice Pyrrhocoris apterus. Tento insekticid nemá vliv na hladinu AKH v CNS makropterních ani brachypterních ploštic, ale podstatně zvyšuje jeho hladinu v hemolymfě. Pomocí HPLC a ELISA byly identifikovány oba typy AKH u všech experimentálních skupin, přičemž poměr obou hormonů v CNS se po ošetření insekticidem částečně změnil. Nejen toto ošetření, ale i další stresové vlivy jako nucené běhání a náhlé přerušení fotoperiody významně zvyšuje hladinu AKH v hemolymfě, zatímco na CNS má jen nepatrný vliv. Získané výsledky prokazují důležitou úlohu AKH v řešení stresových situací u hmyzu. (cs)
