Description	Two nematode species, Philometra gymnosardae sp. n. (Philometridae) and Heptochona maldivensis sp. n. (Rhabdochonidae), are described from the dogtooth tuna Gymnosarda unicolor (Scombridae, Perciformes) from the Indian Ocean off the Maldive Islands. This is the first-known species of Philometra whose gravid females are present in the body cavity of tuna fishes. Rhabdochona parastromatei is synonymized with H. stromatei, whereas Heptochona sindica and H. rivdica are invalid names. Two nematode species, Philometra gymnosardae sp. n.
