Description	A short history on the development of thermometric and thermoanalytical methods are revived accentuating the role of Czecho-Slovak scientists (R. Barta) in underpinning special conferences and new journal Silikaty in fifties. A special notice is paid to the Czecho-Slovak source journals and fundamental papers published in the period of fifties to eighties (Silikáty, Chemické listy, Československý časopis pro fyziku), which often preceded the international sources. Impact of the associated papers (work of V. Satava) is referenced mentioning the duty in the creation of the Czech school on thermoanalytical kinetics. Itemized 227 citations with titles.
