Description
  • A lot of systems for 3D textile structure visualization exist. Most of them approximate the surface of the structure by polygons and use standard 3D graphical systems. The proposed approach follows from the modern features of virtual reality. Using special nodes, complicated objects as yarns in textile fabrics can be modeled. Its advantage is that the user can focus to the creative work and all the routine work is made by the system. Menu controlled SW, written in Visual Pascal and based on the virtual reality was created. As its input there are basic parameters of structure and the output is the structure image that can be inspected by all the means of virtual reality, including moving through the structure. As for quality and realism, the resulting images are comparable with those from commercial systems.

  • Existuje mnoho systémů pro trojrozměrnou (3D) vizualizaci textilních struktur. Mnoho z nich aproximuje povrch prvků struktury pomocí n-úhelníků (zpravidla trojúhelníků) a používá standardní 3D grafiku. Navržený systém využívá speciální možnosti virtuální reality. Při použití speciálních uzlů lze snadno modelovat komplikované objekty, jako textilní vlákna. Jeho výhodou je to, že uživatel se může soustředit na tvůrčí práci a rutinní složku práce za něho vykonává systém. V jazyku visual Pascal byl vytvořen systém řízený pomocí menu a využívající virtuální reality. Na vstupu se zadají základní parametry struktury a na výstupu se velmi rychle objeví její obraz, který lze prohlížet všemi prostředky virtuální reality, jež zahrnují i pohyb uvnitř struktury. Pokud jde o kvalitu a realističnost zobrazení, je tento systém srovnatelný s komerčními systíémy. (cs)
