| - One of the Czech entrepreneurial environment problems is continuation of firms? isolation. The support from European Fund is also concentrating on setting up and development of clusters. World successful clusters show that small regions managed to build and hold their world pri-macy despite growing global competition. This article deals with membership in clusters, where the University participates in development of entrepreneurial environment. After introduction there are defined enterprise, small and middle enterprises, clusters and their functions. Then the information about preparing of projects, searching of firms and setting up of cluster Omni-pack (co-operative of covers producers) follows. The Cluster OMNIPACK was awarded as the entrepreneurial project of the year 2005. In 2006 this cluster got four million crowns as the sub-sidy for the education of workers for the first time in the Czech Republic from European fund.

- Jedním z problémů českého podnikatelského prostředí je přetrvávající izolace firem. Podpora z evropských fondů se proto zaměřuje i na zakládání a rozvoj klastrů. Úspěšné klastry ve světě dokazují, že i malé regiony si dokázaly vytvořit a udržet světové prvenství v klíčových sektorech navzdory rostoucí globální konkurenci. Na druhé straně je jasné, že takovéto regiony jsou efek-tivními tvůrci bohatství a nabízejí svým občanům lepší pracovní místa a budoucí vyhlídky. Článek pojednává o členství v klastru, kdy se i univerzita podílí na rozvoji podnikatelského prostředí. Po úvodu jsou definovány podnik, malé a střední podniky, klastry, jejich funkce. Navazují informace o přípravě projektů, vyhledávání podniků a založení Klastru Omnipack , družstvo výrobců obalů. Klastr byl oceněn jako podnikatelský projekt roku 2005. V roce 2006 poprvé v ČR získal tento klastr čtyři milióny korun na vzdělávání pracovníků, dotaci z evropských fondů. (cs)
