Description
| - Práce s korpusy je sice pro učení se jazyku důležitá, ale nese s sebou i úskalí nepochopení komplexity jazyka. Ačkoli většina korpusů nebyla primárně vytvořena pro účely výuky cizího jazyka, mohou být velice efektivně využívány. Především vedou studenty ke studiu jazyků v kontextu a k autonomnímu učení. I další údaje získané z korpusů (především frekvence lexikálních jednotek a údaje o kolokacích) mohou významně ovlivnit vyučovací proces i tvorbu studijních materiálů. Na tyto nové situace však musejí být učitelé i studenti připraveni, neboť se jedná o nové role. (cs)
- It is believed that corpus materials are important in language learning as they expose students to such sentences that they wil encounter when using the language in real life situations. However the advantage of authentic materials and studying language in context can be endangered by misinterpretations of findigs, by simplified conclusions, by misunderstanding of language complexity. Although most corpora have not been primarily created for the purpose of foreign language learning, they can be very beneficial for this process. Working with concordance programmes can lead learners to study language units in context, to be more autonomous and independent during discovery learning. Also the information retrieved from huge general corpora (especially those concerning frequency and typical collocations) may significantly influence the learning process, material design and syllabus design.
