Description
| - Ve výzkumném ústavu rostlinné výroby, Praha-Ruzyně, je ve spolupráci se šlechtiteli prováděno předšlechtění linií pšenice s požadovanými vlastnostmi, zejména s odolností k chorobám. Odolnost ke rzi pšeničné (Puccinia triticina) a rzi travní (P.graminis) byla přenesena z Triticum timopheevi do linií jarní a ozimé pšenice. Tři geny rezistence ke rzi travní jeden ke rzi pšeničné a jeden k padlí travnímu byly přeneseny do pšenice z T.monococcum. Linie odvozená z křížení T.monococcum byla užita ve šlechtění komerčního kultivaru Vlasta, mimořádně rezistentnímu k padlí travnímu. Geny Lr19 a Lr24 (původ Agropyron elongatum), Lr9 (původ Aegilops umbellulata) byly přeneseny z hexaploidních jarních CIMMYT linií pšenice a gen Lr35 (původ Thinopyrum intermedium) z německé linie W49 do potomstev křížení s registrovanými kultivary. Linie nesoucí Lr19 byla dále využita na Slovensku (Istropol) a odvozená linie s Lr19 bylůa testována ve státních odrůdových zkouškách. Linie odolné ke rzím byly dále dovozené od materiál (cs)
- In the Research Institute of Crop Production, Praha-Ruzyně, prebreeding for wheat lines with desired qualities, particularly disease resistance, is performed in cooperation with plant breeding organizations. Resistance to leaf rust (Puccinia triticina) and stem rust (P. graminis) was transferred from Triticum timopheevi to spring and winter wheat lines and three genes for resistance to stem rust, one for leaf rust, and one for powdery mildew were transferred from T. monococcum to bread wheat. A line derived from the T. monococcum cross was used in breeding the commercial cultivar Vlasta that shows outstanding powdery mildew resistance. Genes Lr19 and Lr24 (origin Agropyron elongatum), Lr9 (origin Aegilops umbellulata) were transferred from hexaploid CIMMYT spring wheat lines and gene Lr35 (origin Thinopyrum intermedium) from the German line W49 to progenies of crosses with registered cultivars.
