| Description
| - The OneGeology-Europe project had the aim of creating a dynamic digital geological map of Europe. Of the 34 members of EuroGeoSurveys (EGS), 20 participated in the OneGeology-Europe project,so the European area has not been completely covered. It was therefore decided to establish a successor initiative OneGeology Europe Plus (1G-E+) with the purpose of extending the coverage by geological maps at a scale of 1:1 M to all the EGS member countries and also, if possible, to the other European countries. The 1G-E+ initiative has no external funding. In order to achieve the desired result, it will be necessary for the new GSOs who intend to supply the additional 1G-E standardized services to carry out the work using their own staff and resources. The technical guidance and other support will be provided by the 1G-E+ Technical Support Team. The team is coordinated by CGS working in cooperation with BRGM, BGS, GEUS and GeoZS. The Technical Support Team will support the technical work required to enable the inclusion of a geological map of a new country in the 1G-E Portal using the standards developed and accepted for 1G-E. Cook-books, on-line help and a Helpdesk will be updated and provided during each stage of the work. Regional Technical workshops will be organized so that the details of the technical steps required to reach the target solution can be presented and discussed.
