Description
| - Food producers in the Czech Republic and in the whole Europe are focused on inovation and expansion of functional food manufacturing. Czech technological platform for foods, whose aim is to direct the research in agriculture and food sectors to ways, that will bring effective implementation of research results to practice, has chosen 4 priorities (being the most important in the Czech Republic) from 7 priorities of european technological platform: Food and health, Food quality, Food safety and Communication with consumers, while functional foods being the main topic in Food and health priority. It means the effort to meet requests of different groups of consumers, both health and disabled by some of frequent (civilization) diseases. The main aim of this project is to extent the offer of functional foods (cereal foods, long-life and fermented dairy products and non-alcoholic beverages) with probiotics and bioactive ingredients from vegetable and animal agricultural commodities.
