The object of this research is to examine the interactions between recharge zones of areal agriculture pollution and surface and ground water quality using remote sensing methods and GIS technologies. The recharge zones, determined on basis of the synthesis map of soil and bedrock vulnerability (data output NAZV no. QC 0242), will be delineated in several selected catchments. Aerial photographs and photo interpretation methods will be used to analyse land use changes in 20th century, particularly in recharges zones. The output of change detection will be correlated with surface water quality. (en)
