Description
  • The main aim of the project is the development of new procedures for magnetic modification of synthetic polymers, biopolymers, inorganic materials and microbial cells using magnetic nanoparticles. This research will result in the preparation of smart, magnetically responsive composite materials. The developed materials will be used for various bioapplications, such as for the isolation and preconcentration of target biologically active compounds and xenobiotics, for immobilization and entrapment of biologically active compounds, affinity ligands and cells, as contrast agents for magnetic resonance imaging etc. (en)
