| Description
| - This study focuses on the preoperative hepatic and regional arterial chemotherapy in patients with the large bowel carcinoma in the stages II or III. This kind of treatment should prolong the overall survival interval and prevent the uprising of the metachronous liver metastasis in these patients. Patients will undergo the preoperative chemotherapy into the hepatic artery and those arteries supplying the tumor (oxaliplatinum 50 mg in 2 hours lasting infusion, followed by the 24 hours lasting infusion of 1000 mg 5FU). A week later, the planned operation will be performed, followed by standard chemotherapy (regimen FOLFOX4, 12 cycles). The results will be compared with a historical control group assessed retrospectively. The follow-ups should last at least for 24 months. (en)
- Předmětem projektu je předoperační jaterní a regionální arteriální chemoterapie u pacientů s karcinomem tlustého střeva ve stadiu II nebo III. Tato terapie by měla u zmíněných pacientů zlepšit celkové přežití a být prevencí metachronních jaterních metastáz. Pacienti podstoupí předoperační chemoterapii do arteria hepatica a tepny zásobující nádor (oxaliplatina 50 mg v 2 hodinové infusi, následovat bude 24-hodinová infuse 1000 mg 5FU). Po týdnu bude provedena plánovaná operace. Po operaci bude následovat standardní chemoterapie (režim FOLFOX4, 12 cyklů). Srovnání bude provedeno s historickou kontrolní skupinou hodnocenou retrospektivně. Délka follow up intervalu by měla být minimálně 24 měsíců.
