Description
  • Cílem projektu je ukázat, že (i) genetická struktura klonálních rostlin je výrazně ovlivněna typem klonálního růstu zúčastněných rostlin; (ii) prostorové interakce zásadně přispívají k dynamice takovýchto systémů.
  • The project aims to determine whether (i) the genetic structure of clonal plants is determined by type of clonal growth; and (ii) whether spatial interactions determine dynamics of such systems. The research will be conducted on several species in two tyes of stands. Data on spatiotemporal structure of these communities colllected earlier (since 1984) will also be used. Main research activities involve: (i) analysis of genetic structure of dominant plants in managed mountain meadows, (ii) constructing %22ndividual-based%22 simulation model of the genetic structure of dominant species that will enable to reconstruct species-specific rates of seedling establishment. These rate are crucial for understanding dynamics of the whole systém. (iii) determine species-specific interactions using spatiotemporal data from experiments manipulating species densities. (en)
