Description
  • Joint research project with Northwestern University (Evanston, IL. USA) is focused on the investigation of damage of concrete and reinforced concrete preferable in compression. The research has theoretical as well as experimental parts. In numerical modeling the microplane model is used. Because computer implementation of microplane model is very time demanding, the application of parallel computer architecture is necessary. The in-house object oriented code OOFEM will be used as suitable programming environment. The experimental part will deal with the testing of concrete and reinforced concrete in compression. The influence of confinment will be investigated. The results will be used for better tunning of microplane model in compression. (en)
  • Společný projekt s Northwestern University je zaměřen na výzkum porušování betonu a železobetonu v tlaku. Výzkum má teoretickou I experimentální část. V teoretické části je třeba formulovat vztahy pro popis změkčení a následnou lokalizaci deformace. Výsledky budou začleněny do objektového programu OOFEM, který byl vyvinut na katedře stavební mechaniky. Experimentální výzkum bude soustředěn na výzkum hodnot parametrů teoretického modelu. Výsledky budou publikovány.
