| Description
| - The aim of proposed research program concerns the proteomic profiling of cancer cell with a perspective towards a new diagnostic and treatment modalities, particularly individualized/personalized therapy and targeted therapy of tumors and their complications. The main topics of interest involve the modulation of gene expression, induction of multidrug resistance, proteomic signatures of anticancer drugs in treated cancer cells, diagnostic, prognostic and predictive significance of selected genes in tumors or patient populations and developments of novel methods for identification of tumor-drug interactions. Oncoproteomics Centre - research consortium of recognized national research and clinical centers will also contribute to the strengthening of translational research with direct impacts on quality of life, creation of intellectual property, employment of young and gifted scientists and finally to increased quality of regional research in both national and international context. - Cílem projektu je s pomocí proteomického profilování identifikovat nové cíle pro léčiva, diagnostické, prognostické a prediktivní markery nádorových onemocnění, zlepšit možnosti výchovy studentů a posílit národní translační proteomický výzkum.

| - Within the Center, we made significant progress particularly in the characterization of molecular mechanisms of action/drug resistance of anticancer drugs, biomarkers, the study of Pseudallescheria sp. proteome and introduction of new proteomic methods based on mass spectrometry. We have also organized international conferences(DDPEO, CEEPC), workshops and symposia of national significancance. (en)
- V rámci Centra se nám podařilo dosáhnout významného pokroku zejména v oblasti charakterizace molekulárních účinků a mechanismů rezistence nových protinádorových léčiv, biomarkerů, v oblasti toxikologie hub řádu Pseudallescheria a ve vývoji nových metod hmotnostní spetkrometrie. S pomocí Centra byly organizovány mezinárodní konference DDPEO a CEEPC a také semináře a konference místního významu. (cs)
