  • "Předkládaný projekt navazuje na nosný grantový projekt GA ČR 522/03/0312 ""Studium role volných radikálů v senescenci rostlin"". Nosný projekt je zaměřen na studium antioxidační ochrany (enzymatické a neenzymatické) a na poškození volnými radikály v průběhu senescence dvou geneticky modifikovaných odrůd tabáku: 1) odrůda s vneseným promotorem pro gen SAG12, který reguluje gen pro isopentenyltransferasu a zvyšuje tak hladinu cytokininů v senescentních listech a 2) odrůda se zvýšenou expresí AtCKX2 genu, který zvyšuje hladinu cytokininoxidasy a rostliny mají tedy sníženou hladinu cytokininů. Navrhovaný projekt tuto problematiku rozšiřuje o podrobné studium enzymatické a neenzymatické antioxidační ochrany (superoxiddismutasa, askorbátperoxidasa, monodehydroaskorbátreduktasa, dehydroaskorbátreduktasa, glutathionreduktasa, askorbát, glutathion a karotenoidy) chloroplastů, jakožto největších producentů volných kyslíkových radikálů v rostlinné buňce. Tyto antioxidanty budeme sledovat jak na úrovni" (cs)
  • "The presented project is in direct continuation of the grant project GA ER 522/03/0312 ""The study of the role of free radicals in regulation of senescence in plants"". The grant project is aimed at the study of antioxidant protection (both enzymatic and nonenzymatic) and at the damage caused by free radicals during senescence of two genetically modified types of tobacco: the type with inserted promoter for gen SAG12, which regulates the gen for isopenthenyltransferase and thus increases the level of cytokinins in senescent leaves and the type with increased expression of AtCKX2 gene with depressed level of cytokinins. The presented project enhances this issue by a detailed study of enzymatic and nonenzymatic antioxidative protection (superoxide dismutase, ascorbate peroxidase, monodehydroascorbate reductase, dehydroascorbate reductase, glutathione reductase, ascorbate, glutathione and carotenoids) of chloroplasts, as the most significant producers of free oxidative radicals in plant cell.
