| Description
| - Symptoms of virus infection will be evaluated on fruits and leaves of transgenic plum, clone C5 inoculated with PPV-Rec, PDV, ACLSV and combinations of PPV-Rec with PDV and ACLSV. The presence of individual viruses in leaves and fruits of inoculated trees will be determined by ELISA, ISEM, and RT-PCR. The yield of fruits from control healthy trees of clone C5 will be compared with yields of fruits from trees inoculated with both, individual viruses and virus combinations. The relative concentration of PPV-Rec in leaves and fruits of infected trees will be determined by real-time PCR. The resistance of clone C5 to the individual viruses and to the mixed infections of PPV-Rec with PDV and ACLSV. Research on transfer of transgene by pollen to the progeny of non-transgenic plants of Prunus domestica L. will be realized.
