Description
| - The biological degradation of complex pollutant mixtures containing compounds with different water solubility and biodegradability in two different reactor systems under steady state and transient state conditions, and also the effects of idle and non-use periods on the degradation rate and efficiency after restarting the reactor operation. Changes in biofilm composition using microbiological analyses and scanning electron microscopy during long-term reactor operation will be tested and evaluated. In addition, the complementary international educational experiences for faculty and students will be multifaceted and aimed at bringing state of the art research directly to the laboratory and the classroom. - Cílem projektu je studium interakcí alifatických a aromatických uhlovodíků a interakcí hydrofobních a hydrofilních látek s odlišnou biodegradabilitou v průběhu biologického odbourávání složitých směsí par polutantů v proudícím vzduchu.
