Description
| - Selected group of compounds yielding radical anions or cations will be characterized with regard to kinetics of electron transfer, radical reactivity and their chemical reactions. Detailed knowledge of reaction pathways of radicals in free state will enable to identify processes which can be suppressed or accentuated by inclusion of radical forms to a molecular cavity of an inert host molecule. We propose to seek means how to stabilize radicals for application in aquenous medium. Project will use a large choice of electrochemical relaxation methods available or developped in the group of the applicant. This includes voltammetry from mV/s to 50 kV/s, steady state methods on ultramicroelectrodes, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, UV-Vis and FTIR spectroelectrochemistry and other. Certain new type of compounds will become available within the framework of current cooperation with foreign partners (France, Germany, Italy). (en)
UV-Vis a FTIR spektroelektrochemii. Některé nové typy studovaných látek budou získány v rámci dosavadní spolupráce se zahraničními partnery (Francie, SRN, Itálie).
