Stored product pests (Psocoptera) are a serious problem in stored food and agricultural management worldwide. The identification of species is most important for IPM practice in storages and in commodity trade. It is complicated to identity some species, especially their early developmental stages using traditional morphological characteristics. Due to the development of DNA markers in recent years, it provides powerful tools for stored pesťs molecular identification in case the morphological characteristics are absent or hardly used in wide practice. The suitable method (sequncing method-16S rDNA) will be used to study the molecular identification of stored product species (Psocoptera) from China and CZ during this cooperation based on morphological identification support.
