| - The evaluation of the proposals of grant projects is based on a %22peer review%22 by at least two independent reviewers. The reviewers are chosen by the branch council. Reviewers' opinion as well as the council´ s own negotiations establishes the precedence of the submitted grant applications. The following criteria are especially observed when evaluating the proposed projects: the scientific contribution, originality and formal elaboration of the work, the topical relevance of its edition, the adequacy of financial requirements and the effectiveness of the project. - Hodnocení návrhů grantových projektů je prováděno zásadně na základě %22peer review%22 nejméně 2 nezávislých oponentů. Oponenty vybírá oborová rada a na základě jejich posudků, které hodnotí projekt podle stanovených kriterií, a vlastního projednání určuje pořadí podaných grantových přihlášek. Při posuzování navrhovaných projektů jsou sledována především tato kritéria - vědecký přínos, originalita a formální zpracování díla, aktuálnost jeho vydání, přiměřenost finančních požadavků a efektivnost projektu (cs)

| - The support is given for one year commencing January 1, 2002 and can be provided to those scientific workers (teams) who have successfully accomplished (as a rule not longer than two years) the standard grant project of the GA AV or a grant project supported by another grant agency financed from the public resources. The applicant must have completed the whole manuscript of the work at his disposal that is based on the original scientific results obtained in the course of solving this project. The number of copies must not exceed 1000 and must be exclusively non-profit in character. The concrete intention of the edition must be stated (the editor as well as the financial conditions of publishing the work must be indicated). GA AV reserves the right to reject any application that does not meet the conditions of the grant contest, that gives incorrect or incomplete data or its content or form does not correspond to the stipulated requirements. - Podpora se uděluje na 1 rok od počátku roku 2002 a může být poskytnuta těm vědeckým pracovníkům (týmům), kteří dokončují nebo před krátkým časem (zpravidla do dvou let) s úspěchem dokončili standardní grantový projekt GA AV nebo grantový projekt podporovaný z veřejných zdrojů jiným poskytovatelem. Navrhovatel musí mít k dispozici úplný rukopis díla založeného na původních vědeckých výsledcích, získaných při řešení tohoto projektu. Náklad díla nesmí přesáhnout 1000 výtisků a musí mít výhradně neziskový charakter. Musí rovněž existovat konkrétní ediční záměr (je znám nakladatel a finanční podmínky vydání díla). GA AV má právo odmítnout přihlášku, která nesplňuje podmínky grantové soutěže, uvádí nesprávné či neúplné údaje nebo její obsah či forma neodpovídá stanoveným požadavkům. (cs)
