| Description
| - The biological research of today is atomized, on one side it uses a number of highly specialized methods but specialization often prevents scientific communication. In the proposed project we would like to link the physical-chemical, biochemical and physiological approaches used to study animal cell, and to stimulate collaboration between students of different subject fields at the level of their doctoral study programs. We suggest a number of practical courses and lectures which will help talented students to get knowledge about new methods which are currently used in top laboratories to solve the physiologically relevant questions. In a relatively short time, the students should master these methods at such a level that will allow them to do self-reliant decisions needed in their future scientific work. The students will be learned modern scientific thinking and to view the cell in complex. They will be also trained in scientific communication, to present their work at international conferences and to write manuscripts. The project involves 25 postgradual students and 15 supervisors. The aim is to motivate students to finish their Thesis and to get Ph.D. degree. Finally, the aim is also to support communication between institutions of ASCR and Charles University in Prague. (en)
- V předkládaném doktorském projektu chceme přispět k propojení fyzikálně-chemických, biochemických a fyziologických přístupů k výzkumu živočišné buňky a v rámci doktorských studijních programů stimulovat spolupráci mezi studenty různých oborů.
