| Description
| - We perceive the main contribution of our planned research in adding more data to the information base necessary for the creation of efficient intervention programmes focused on health support. We will try to verify the relationship between optimism and active, problem-oriented coping strategies and the relationship between pessimism and the tendency to deny problems. We will also attempt to make the model of health-supportive behaviour more accurate. The model that we have used in the grant project uses variables such as health, life satisfaction, body-concept, body-awareness and selected personal characteristics. We would like to add other analyses based on relationships between optimistic or pessimistic explanatory (cogitive) styles, attitudes, beliefs, personal characteristics a health-supportive behaviour to the study. In the future, we would like to prepare efficient preventive programmes focused on health support; besides providing necessary information and influencing the attitudes of respondents, the programmes should primarily change the actual behaviour of respondents towards an intentional support of own health. - Cílem projektu je tvorba informační základny pro navazující přípravu programů podporujících zdraví. Východiskem je analýza vztahů mezi kognitivním stylem VŠ studentů, jejich postoji a přesvědčeními týkajících se zdraví, vybranými osobnostními charakteristikami a zdraví podporujícím chováním.
