Description	The objective of this project is to explore and explain differences and similarities of the key stakeholders discourses and strategies in caring policies within the existing constraints and limitations in a broader framework of changes in the labour market, welfare state and in the economic and business cycle. We are interested how strategies that are adopted by relevant actors at these circumstances are mutually ´compatible´ and how effective they are in responding the increasing demand for care services. We compare a country where care policies have a long tradition and are well developed in various forms and not affected by the crisis, and the other country where the policies are only slowly getting priority and hampered by the adverse effects of fiscal consolidation while the needs of care are increasing, in order to understand how strategies of social innovations in care services are emerging in different societal contexts and how the governance framework and social investments can support the innovations. (en) Hlavním cílem projektu je prozkoumat a vysvětlit rozdílné a podobné aspekty diskurzů a strategií klíčových aktérů politik a služeb péče o seniory a děti v kontextu existujících omezení a širších změn na trhu práce, sociálního státu a ekonomického cyklu. Zajímá nás zejména to, jak jsou strategie klíčových aktérů navzájem kompatibilní, respektive slučitelné, a jak efektivně dokáží strategie klíčových aktérů řešit narůstající poptávku po zajištění péče. Srovnáváme tyto strategie ve dvou zemích, přičemž v jedné z nich jsou politiky péče dobře rozvinuté, mají dlouhou tradici a nejsou příliš zasaženy krizí (Norsko) a ve druhé z nich tyto politiky získávají na významnosti pouze pozvolna a jejich rozvoji brání negativní efekty fiskální konsolidace, zatímco potřeby péče stále narůstají (Česká republika). Hlavním účelem tohoto srovnávání je porozumění tomu, jaké strategie sociálních inovací v oblasti služeb péče se v rozdílných sociálních kontextech objevují a jak systém řízení a sociálních investic mohou tyto inovace podporovat.
