Description	Cílem projektu je analyzovat jazykovou situaci a současnou podobu francouzského jazyka v afrických frankofonních zemích. Hlavním výstupem grantového projektu je monografie o jazykové situaci a současné podobě francouzského jazyka v afrických frankofonních zemích. (cs) The project should analyse, in form of a monograph, the current language situation and the form of the French language in Africa. The applicant and the joint applicant have been dealing with the position and the specificities of French in the particular French-speaking countries and regions for a long time. The have obtained several scholarships and research stays at French-speaking universities, cooperating with a number of workplaces and experts from French-speaking universities. They have published a number of articles on these issues, both in the Czech Republic and abroad. The proposed project and the planned monograph continue the already published works French in Canada, French in Europe and French in Americas. The aim of the applicant and the joint applicant is to successively cover the language situation and the specificities of the French language in the whole French-speaking world. The monograph on the French in Africa should be complemented, in future, by a final monograph dealing with the French in the islands of the Indian Ocean and Pacific. (en)
