| Description
| - The present project is focused on the research of the hunting strategies of the Late Palaeolithic hunters (i.e., hunting techniques, hunting seasons, age and form structure of the hunted animals) based on the microstructural and isotopic analyses of the teeth and bones of hunted animals. The enamel microstructures are employed to establish the age and the death season of the hunted animals. Isotopic analyses (oxygen, carbon, nitrogen, sulphur and strontium) answer the migration, seasonality and dietary questions of the hunted fauna. All the data obtained will help us to reconstruct the hunting strategies of the Late Palaeolithic hunters within the area of the Central Europe. This study follows the previous archaeological and palaeontological research. This research enable a more detailed view of this topic and may help to solve the question of the permanent year-long or seasonal staying of the hunters at the Gravettian settlements. (en)
- Předkládaný projekt je zaměřen na studium loveckých strategií mladopaleolitických lovců (tj. techniky lovu, sezónu lovu, věkovou a kondiční strukturu lovené zvěře) na základě mikrostruktur a izotopových analýz zubů a kostí ulovených zvířat. Mikrostruktura skloviny bude využita na zjištění věku a ročního období ulovených zvířat. Izotopové analýzy (kyslík, uhlík, dusík, síra a stroncium) poslouží k rekonstrukci migrací, sezonality a výživy lovné fauny. Ze všech získaných údajů bude možné rekonstruovat lovecké strategie mladopaleolitických lovců na území středního Podunají. Tento výzkum navazuje na předchozí archeologický a paleontologický výzkum. Výzkum umožní detailnější pohled na řešený problém a může pomoci vyřešit otázku celoročního nebo sezónního pobytu lovců na gravettských sídlištích. (cs)
