| Description
| - The basis of the presented project is the already existing electronic corpus of the Old Babylonian texts which has been created since 1991 by the members of the research group. The project reckons with the essential enlarging of this corpus so that it will contain all the important texts of various genres (letters, contracts, administrative records, legal codes, royal inscriptions, literary compositions etc.). These texts are written inthe cuneiform script and in the Old Babylonian language and they cover the entire Old Babylonian period (ca. 2000-1600 B.C.). They originate from Babylonia proper but also from adjacent regions (above all, Mari and Susa). A catalogue of the cuneiform signs that are attested in these texts will be then composed on the basis of this representative corpus. The great number of the texts as well as their variety will make to an unprecedented extent possible to trace differences in the shape and usage of signs within the Old Babylonian period. (en)
- Jádrem předpokládaného projektu je již existující počítačový korpus starobabylónských textů, který vzniká od r. 1991 a na jehož vytváření se podílejí členové řešitelského kolektivu. Projekt počítá s podstatným rozšířením tohoto korpusu tak, aby obsahoval všechny důležité texty různých typů (dopisy, smlouvy, administrativní záznamy, zákonodárná díla, královské nápisy, literární skladby). Tyto texty, psané klínovým písmem a starobabylónským jazykem, pokrývají celé starobabylónské období (zhruba 2000-1600 př.n.l.) a pocházejí především z vlastní Babylónie, jakož i z některých sousedních oblastí (především Mari a Susy). Na základě tohoto reprezentativního korpusu bude posléze sestaven katalog klínopisných grafémů, které jsou v těchto textech doloženy. Velký počet textů i jejich rozmanitost přitom umožní v dosud nebývalé míře postihovat rozdíly ve vzhledu a významu jednotlivých grafémů, které jsou podmíněny chronologicky, geograficky i žánrově.
