Description
  • The main objective of this project is the early identification of patients with chronic myeloid leukemia at high risk of resistance to imatinib (Glivec, STI571). We are going to introduce the method of ASO PCR with sensitivity 0,01% in order to early detect mutations associated with poor prognosis. Further early markers of the resistance will be tested by molecular and cytogenetic techniques (en)
  • Cílem práce je nalézt možnosti časné identifikaci pacientů s vysokým rizikem vzniku rezistence na imatinib (Glivec, STI571). Bude zavedena metoda ASO PCR s citlivostí 0,01% k detekci mutací v kinázové doméně BCR-ABL. Pomocí cytogenetických a molekulárně genetických metod budou hledány další časné markery rezistence. (cs)
